OAP Pop Punks spokesman Rolf Harris in association with the clubs sponsors Ovaltine and Werthers originals today revealed the clubs aims for the season:
"After a tricky time for various reasons last time around we feel we're actually weaker than last season, therefore the manager and chairman have sat down and come up with realistic aims for the season, we hope to avoid relegation, which we know will be a tough ask, Paddy has the utmost respect for managers like Izuka and Carbonmonoxide and he knows it will be a tough ask to compete with their sides and doubts they will struggle again this season, so its tough to judge who will be embroiled in a relegation battle"
"Our other aim is to injure as many Totaalvoetbal players as possible, game 4 and 19 have already been marked down in the calendar and a bonus will be issued to the player who injures the most Totaal players. We've already planned to play bruise and are working on an intensive course in the most effective ways of being violent and causing injury on a football pitch, we may not be able to challenge for the title but we aim to stop our hated rivals Totaal from being able to even field 11 players in the games after the ones with us."
It is believed the bad blood between Pop Punk and Totaal stems from a clash between the two managers during a recent encounter. Paddy Mckeever was knocked unconscious by RobinMeeblind with what Paddy described as a "lucky punch". Paddy has reportedly been training with Mike Tyson and taking steroids in preparation for the matches with Totaal.
