Promotion flame still burning

Anime Allstars FC's hope of promotion are still alive despite being 11 points off the pace. With just 15 points up for grabs Anime will soon be asking other teams for favours. Anime can still be promoted out-right but if they do not win their 5 remaining fixtures you get the feeling that the race is over.

In their last match they kept the flame alive with a narrow 1-0 home win over Steaua Needarest. On the 40th minute Sonsaku Hakufu headed home the only goal of the match from a well worked corner. Anime had 3 good chances but only took one, the visitors were unable to even create a single decent effort infront of goal and in the post match interview Joshy had this to say...

" This season has not gone to plan and we are lagging behind in the promotion race. We now need to win our 5 remaining matches to give ourselves any realistic chance of promotion this season. The youth are coming along nicely and we are expecting another good change report and our plans for next season have been made simple as only one player has put in a request for retirement. "
