After 109 games and 13 goals, Holgate Pathetic midfield general Clark Kent has finally decided to hang up his boots and retire gracefully.
Injury has taken its toll on Kent this season and it has become clear that his footballing development would be going backwards rather than forwards at the close of the season.
Kent has also been causing some trouble around the stadium recently, claiming that he could fly and had x ray vision. This has caused ladies team some concern and Kent has been moved on before a law suit could follow.
