Home sweet home

Flare United had a great week at the Sunburst Arena as they defeated first Real Madrid FC and then Pahang United, both by a reasonably comfortable 2-0 margin. Ernie Ormondroyd has been on fire even in the worst of form as his freekick from a Cristiano Ronaldo foul sealed the win over Real after Ruben de La Red had initially put the ball into his own net in the 10th minute. He then went on to net two beautiful freekicks against Pahang United to bring his season tally to 12 goals.

Flare United next travel to AFC Stanley before hosting The Vikings, fixtures from which they need 2 points in total to seal their place in the top flight next season but will prove unimportant if Splott Rovers fail to win their final two games against tough opposition.
