Bristol City Manager Paul Stevenson is unusally quite after seeing his team beat Kensington Boys Club 2-0 at Ashton Gate in front of a capacity home crowd in his first game in charge. Having watched the game the manager declined the usual after match press conference, instead retiring to his office for a quite cup of tea.
In an exclusive interview to the local rag the Evening Post, the manager said of the matter 'there are too many managers in division 1 bigging themselves up after winning their first games. I heard on the radio just now that the Gooners have the moodiest best striker in the division in Busquets even though he was not on the pitch. I was happy to offload that lad after his wild demands in the dressing room for slippers and thongs and for the wild temper tantrums after I banned him from eating sweets in the changing room. I am not sure how manager FMRealism can say he is the best when clearly the lad Lloyd Lipscombe who came to us as part of the deal played superbly on his debut and scored a cracking goal'.
'I also heard F.C. Greatness manager Darren Calvert banging on about his striker Martinus Benafri after he scored two goals. I have seen the replays and he is nothing special. The first goal hit his amazing large nose and went in without him knowing anything about it while the second was a rebounded shot which hit him on the ass. All I can say is that I hope he improves for our fixture on Friday otherwise my defence are going to have a field day with him'.
