A dominant display by Eaglesrjh's The Vikings saw Liverpool's recent good run come to a crashing halt at Viking Land. Liverpool never recovered from conceding a 10th minute free-kick to Anastasios Tassiopoulos as The Vikings strengthened their position at the top of Division Two. With Viking Land News reporting that the win "increases chance of promotion" these are exciting times for Viking followers. Late goals were added by Vassilis Papakostas and Ted Tolley to give the scoreline a more emphatic look.
An impressive performance by Pakya set the foundations for his Manchester United side to stay four points adrift of the leaders with a 3-0 success of their own. After a tight first-half against AJ Rovers, United broke through after the interval with Sture Kiltorp netting. The exciting talent that is Mohammed Khadduri added a second with a stunning free-kick before Ghaffur Kamal put the gloss on the scoreline late in the game.
Level on points with United are Kirkbride Strollers who ground out a hard fought 1-0 win at Real Madrid FC. In a game of few chances the winner came in the 89th minute to break Madrid hearts as David Proctor scored his fourth goal of the season for the Strollers.
Kensington Boys Club benefited from Madrid's defeat and also took advantage themselves by winning 2-0 at Ripplenet United. Jeremias Bray the hero for Boys Club with two goals which saw the side escape the relegation zone. Defeat for Ripplenet though sees them firmly entrenched at the foot of the table.
In the division's other game Kroklund Kings and Pahang United played out a 0-0 draw which created little excitement for the fans.
