Hawks Continue to Soar

White Hawk continued to set the pace after the latest round of matches in Division Three of the RM Invitational. Playing at home to Morley Town F.C. goals from Ruud Sparendam and Clarence Ong A Fat allowed White Hawk to feast on another three points. Morley Town manager did not pull any punches in his assessment of the team, "...the worst performance I have ever seen on a football pitch.." bemoaned the beleaguered boss.

Doing their best to keep pace with the soaring Hawks are Southampton. Their latest success a 2-1 win at The Posh. A late penalty from Jim Hotte sealing the win after Gianmarco Siligardi and Harold Hankers had traded goals. Manager Hardinho claimed the Manager of the Round award although in his modesty he was heard saying "dunno how mind" in response to how he won it.

In the battle of the 11 point teams it was to be The Fracture gang who would triumph in their clash with Charlottenburg. Stan Collymore's brace for the home side proving not enough as Garry Maynard, Joel Weymouth and Bruce Deary all netted in a hectic second-half.

Leapfrogging Charlottenburg were Belly Tubbies. In an even looking game at Carthage FC it was the superior finishing of the away side that won the day. Andras Boloni, Miles Prenderville and sub Carlton Dickinson meaning that Eric Fray's strike was nothing but a consolation.

In the division's other clash Colburn Town won by the odd goal in five at wortley afc. An injury-time winner from Tomas Riano breaking wortley hearts after they had come back from two goals down.
