Belly Tubbies Feed off Fitz

A Manager of the Round performance from Fitzy kept Belly Tubbies in the thick of the promotion race in Division Three. Despite conceding most of the possession Belly Tubbies gave a display of attacking precision creating chance after chance. Carlton Dickinson heading home the first after 51 minutes for his second goal in only two starts this season. The game was back in the melting pot when wortley afc scored with their only effort on goal. A well-taken shot by captain Quincy Bowey giving the home fans something to cheer. It proved to be short-lived however when Jarred Burkinshow capped a man-of-the-match display with a free-kick of true quality to give Belly Tubbies a 2-1 win.

Remaining four points above Belly Tubbies are Southampton following their 3-1 home win over Colburn Town. A brace from Norman Hemmings and an injury-time effort by Leopold Beazley rendered Pablo Castellano's effort a mere consolation. Despite the victory Saints' manager Hardinho was unhappy with the "far from convincing" nature of the performance.

Still on top of the pile are the peerless White Hawk FC. Another day, another win for Hooraymee's side with Carthage FC being the victims. Ryan Dharmsingh got the hosts off to a flier with a second minute strike. Jazmique Lattizze doubled this before half-time with a well worked free-kick. Producing a better second-half performance Carthage responded through the impressive Hannibal Barca's penalty. It wasn't enough though as Adan Donahue settled matters for Hawk late in the game.

Pushing to force their way into the promotion mix are The Fracture gang. A 93rd minute winner from Favio Polonia giving them the points against Morley Town F.C. The visitors had taken a 27th minute lead through Kadir Bereket, who netted his second goal of the season. The second-half belonged to the gang though as Cristovao Borba equalised before Polonia's late late strike.

The division's other game was a hard fought battle between Charlottenburg FC and The Posh. A game which ended with 50-50 possession and 4-4 in chances will therefore have surprised no-one with a 1-1 scoreline. An early penalty from Wade Ellison for the visitors being cancelled out by a bullet Stan Collymore header.
