utter disbelief and overwhelming joy to the outcome of the last day of the league after leading most of the season .'The gooners caught us n over took us with there great displays and only lose a few matches all season is a great achievement so well done to them , but im still in shock to be honest to finish first after resigning ourselfs to second or even third was a bit bitter cos the lads n all the staff have been working extremely hard n played well all season ' the great lord bags was qouted on saying . we asked him what laid ahead for wortley afc he said ' we have to see who wants to stay or go and on the change report for us to survive in higher leagues we need to strenghthen and bring in younger players to help the club progress '.


the great lord bags also said ' we wish to thank all the teams we have played against for a competative season and to gooners and dream team a specail thank u for a nail biting finish that only the fans we have enjoyed more than us good luck to all teams for the future'.

well wortley have been gracious in victory and has really been a great season to watch we can only what the other teams think of the results and to what kind of season come next season
