Who are ya!!!

Not the original but definately the best!

West Brom won the battle of the Strollers, which infact turned out to be less of a battle and more of mauling.

WBS controlled the game from start to finish and only an inspired performance by Ted Hill in the Kirkbride goal kept the score to a respectable level.

WBS went ahead in the 20th minute, a miscued shot from Regis finding its way into the net, it was no less than WBS deserved though after a string of chances. After Lapinho header brought Kirbride level, WBS wasted no time in regaining the lead, Regis again this time with a well struck shot on 31 minutes. After half time it was more of the same Hughes bagging a goal on 64 with a precise header after hitting the upright just minutes earlier.Kirkbride then held out until th 89th minute when Sneekes released Basset who beat the offside trap and lofted the ball exquisitley over the oncoming keeper.4-1 to WBS!!

WBS head coach Dinky was pleased with the result "they all worked hard today, we have the quality and the class and it shone through today"

The result puts WBS to the top of the RMI on goal difference.
