Long Season

Judging from the first two matches of the season it's going to be a long season for Kirkbride with two heavy defeats away from home.

The two losses leave The Strollers deep in relegation trouble already since the next match is against defending champions ThunderCats FC at The Bush.

Manager jazza1958 was in a subdued mood and said "The step up to the top division has certainly been a big one. Today we were well and truly taken apart by West Brom Strollers and we must get something from Fridays match to stop the rot. With club funds at an all time low the training funds just aren't there so maybe it's time for a few youngsters who are keen to play replacing some of the ageing squad who are struggling for form."
