Amateurs thump Kensington
The Yorkshire Amateurs saw off their southern counterparts earlier this week with a resounding 5-0 victory at the Thorp Arches. The Amateurs went for an attacking formation with 3 up top and this paid dividends with all the strikers getting on the score sheet. Amazingly for such an impressive attacking performance it was defender Vince Brightwell who walked off with the man of the match award after an imposing defensive performance. His more attack minded centre half partner Andrew Potts managed a goal and an assist too as the Amateurs really hit top form. They will look to maintain their unbeaten form when they visit the Estadio El Madrigal for their next game against Spanish giants Villareal.
