With the arrival of the new manager came expectation, and Gooners didnt disappoint. They went at wortley straight from the whistle and it should have been 6 - 0 by halftime. They did manage to lead the game easily for 89 minutes until leaking the eqaulizer right at the death the final score was 3 - 3.
Gooners manager finally caught up with the press and had this to say, "Im fairly new to Xpert Eleven having only joined from halfway through last season but i see this as an advantage and not a handicap. I think i have proven myself to be a very capable manger in my 1st season already".
As for the team they were unlucky today and i can take many positives from the performance! Although they will need more organizing at the back. From the little i seen so far they keep the ball well and are very good attacking. Its a shame our best striker is out for some time and we will endevour to speed up his recovery but overall im very happy with what the previous manger did before he left. Of course i will add my own stamp on the team and business is already well underway in the transfer market and as everyone knows i do love a bargin!
As for the future, i think this team can and will step up a level now and i never look further than the next game which is a six pointer against Dream Team. Its the kind of game i live for ;)
