Manager Patrik Karlsson showed new levels of humility as he refused to acknowledge the fact that Kensington Boys Club are moving upwards and will play in division 1 next season.
"I am not going to comment on matters that are not fully settled. This is division 2 after all."
Mr Karlsson, always seen as having a little more heart for football than brains for it, did however have some enormous luck the previous season. After being officially relegated and facing division 3, a winning lottery ticket put them firmly into division 2 madness once again. This time however, it seems they were destined to exit the right way up.
